Carmine Street Guitars

Ever wondered how guitars are made? Well, there's tons of ways. At Carmine Street Guitars, the owner, Rick Kelly, has a lot! One of his lines, Kelly's Guitars are all handmade in the back of this shop. One of the more known guitars he makes is a line of guitars known as the Bowery Pine. These guitars are made up of wood of old building in New York City. Isn't that amazing? You can actually make music with NYC history! In fact, one of those guitars was sold to Lou Reed a few years ago, made from wood from the Chelsea Hotel. The store is located on 42 Carmine Street, so if you're a guitar fan, definitely go take a look!
